THE HOME:  Eichler designed, this comfortable home has a very open floor plan, with floor to ceiling windows in the kitchen, dining area, and livingroom.  An atrium in the center of the house also has floor to ceiling windows, which bring a beautiful garden atmosphere into the living areas of the home.  Mexican tile floors, high beamed ceilings.  Large master bedroom with king bed and a second guest bedroom available.  Two other bedrooms set up as home offices, with computers, can be made up into an additional sleeping area.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:  Sunnyvale, California is located in the heart of Silicon Valley and is a convenient central location for touring  Northern California.  San Francisco is a 50 minute drive and can also be reached by train from Sunnyvale.  Stanford University is 10 minutes drive, downtown San Jose is 15 minutes.  Santa Cruz , Carmel, Monterey beach resort areas are just a 45 minute drive.  Napa Valley wine country can be reached in an hour.  Yosemite, Lake Tahoe and Reno are 3-4 hours by car.

DESIRED DESTINATIONS:  Retired couple interested in all exchange opportunities.  We enjoy travel and like visiting all countries, so send us your information.  We are also interested in exchange opportunities in California, all US states and Canada.  Would like to exchange to north eastern Decorah, Iowa,in July any year.

DATES:  We are very flexible on dates.  We can do non-simultaneous exchanges, as we have our Sunnyvale home and our mountain home.

THE PEOPLE:  We are a very active retired couple in our early sixties.  We enjoy bicycling, skiing,  hiking, touring, genealogy, and gardening.  Geralynn is a retired Accounting Manager and Don is a retired train operator.
